Dear Aquarius,
I am just coming to say hello. You're my favorite girl of the whole team. I was just asking if you
are going to make a T.V. show about all the Zodiac Girlz. Like on a T.V. channel? I would love for
you and the girls if you made a T.V. show. Then you can save the world from danger. Just asking. And
I can't believe that my wish came true. YOU ARE MAKING AND SELLING THE ZODIAC GIRLZ DOLLS LIKE I
WANTED YOU TO!!! thank you so much! Well see you later Aquarius.

Stephanie from San Diego, California writes:
Hey Gemini Twins,
I'm a Gemini myself and I was wondering if you could answer my question. I hate being popular and
everything but when I try to be alone everyone just follows. And if I tell them that I need time
alone they just blow up at me and they say I hate them (which is soooo not true) I mean they are my
really good friends and all but it really hurts when they say I hate them and I have no friends. I
also was wondering about another thing. Everyone expects me to be there for them 24/7 and I always
get dragged into things. I always have to give crush advice (even though I have only got 1
boyfriend), friend advice, school advice and more! Will you just help me PLEASE! How can I stop this?
But not all of it!
- Stephie (11)
Gemini responds:
Dear Stephie,
It sounds like you need to set some boundaries. You have something about you that everyone wants
around them (that's a good thing!), but you need time for yourself as well. How do you say "no" and
still keep your friends? Learning to say "no" is a powerful tool and is something that a lot of
people have a hard time with because nobody likes to hurt feelings. When you really need some alone
time, try the diplomatic approach. Say something like, "I'd love to hear all about your crush, but
right now I have a list a mile long of chores (or work or studying...) I have to do. Give me a few
hours and we'll catch up when I'm finished." That way you are letting your friends know they are
important to you, but you have other obligations to take care of first. Or set time limits: "I only
have 10 minutes then I HAVE to do my homework or you won't see me for a month!"
If you just don't want to be involved in a problem at all, there are tactful ways to back out nicely:
- With Friends: "I love you both dearly so I cannot get in the middle of this. You are such an
understanding friend and can see how I feel. You wouldn't like to get in between two good friends,
would you?"
- School Advice: "That's tough! Maybe you should talk to your teacher or get a tutor? They really
can help!"
- Serious Problems: "That's a really serious problem and I'm sorry you are going through it. You
should really talk to your parents or counselor. I'll be here for you to help take your mind off of
things (like going to the mall), but you really need to go to them to solve the problem."
Showing compassion, giving a hug and letting them know you care may be all you need to do. You don't
have to get involved in anything you are not comfortable with and it's NOT up to you to fix
everything. You can still have friends and still say NO. It's okay - really!
Hugs,
The Twins

Dear Scorpio,
OMG. You are just like me! I can't stand the color pink. I would rather be a football than a
cheerleader. And worst of all I can't stand boys that want to show me their 'rock collection'. I got
to admit. I am pretty hot myself. And, I want to have my own Zine. Everyone would know my name! And
how I feel about their dead bug collections... And their food stuffed retainer! I swear my friend
Andy is like a chipmunk! He must store nuts in his retainer! Ok... Well, bye!
- Hayley (11)
Scorpio responds:
Dear Hayley,
Yep, you are definitely a Scorpio. Start working on your magazine - it takes a lot of dedication,
but a Scorpio like you can do it! As for the boys with the dead bugs and gross eating habits... LOL!
Give them a few years and I'm sure they will outgrow it. All of a sudden they will start to care
what a girl thinks about them! Until then, just look away...
Ciao,
Scorpio

Hiya Taurus,
im just like you we are like twins. I had an idea for this website; why don't ya put a makeover game
on it? Add it to the zodiac girlz style game. I mean like eyeshadow, lipstick and things like that
for a makeover game. It'll be really cool to do the makeup as well. ps your website must be the best
cos my 13 year old bro was exploring the site. He said to himself this must be the best website I've
ever been on. I jumped out on him and went bright red! Just so you know I think the website rocks.

Hey there first I just want to say that I love you website. And for the dolls their great I am
going to try to see if I could get them. I also wanted to ask you advice on 2 things one thing is
how do I get a boy to like me. They don't have to like me so much they just have to respect me a
little bit more. And another thing is that I have a problem with the way I look. I know it matters
only what's on the inside but I am getting tired of again getting disrespected by people when the
first see me. I am tired of this!!!!
- Adancia (10)
Dear Adancia,
The first thing about gaining respect from others is to respect yourself. If you don't like yourself,
how can you expect others to like you too? It's the same thing with boys... they seem to notice
girls who are confident with who they are. So instead of worrying about others, start working on
being the wonderful YOU that you are!

Leah from Colorado writes:
hey Girlz!
I am short (5 feet 3 inches), and my friend Nikki is really tall (5 feet 7 inches). Well she is
really smart, pretty, and good at sports... every thing that I am not, I guess. Well sometimes she
makes me feel inferior to her with out realizing it, and I don't know how to tell her with out
hurting her feelings. Like if I do something that she has never done (like snowboarding.... I'm a
gold medalist), she'll say, "Well if I did that I'd probably be really good at it too, I mean you've
been doing it since you were eight". And that hurts, as she doesn't get how hard it is to do stuff,
like snowboard. It takes ages of practice to be a gold medalist, and she acts as though it's because
I suck at everything that I needed lots of practice. How can I make her understand the amount of
dedication it's taken for me to be a snowboarding champ?? You guys give the best advice, and that's
why I'm turning to you for help. love
- Leah (13)
Dear Leah,
First of all, nobody can make you feel inferior. You feel inferior on your own because you are
comparing yourself to your friend. Everyone is different. Everyone is special in a unique way and
it's time you start believing that YOU are just as wonderful as anyone else! Sometimes it's hard to
believe that someone you admire could be insecure too - but believe it! Your friend may also be
feeling the same way you are about her - that she could never equal what you have accomplished. It's
easier sometimes to make a hurtful comment (even if she doesn't realize it) than to try and be
as good at something. Let her know how hard you work at your sport and that it hurts your feelings
when she acts like it's no big deal. She'll understand. And keep up the great work! Snowboarding is
TOUGH and to become a gold medalist... WOW! That takes major determination and practice! We think
YOU ROCK!
Love,
The Zodiac Girlz

Katie from Bethlehem, USA writes:
Okay, today I felt a little drowsy. I thought I would have to throw-up. So I went to the bathroom.
When I pulled down my pants, I saw blood in the middle of my underwear. I AM SO FREAKED OUT! I got a
book about taking care of yourself, and it had a chapter on your period. I read it and understood it.
I found out that I had my PERIOD! I used some toilet paper as a 'pad'. I'M TOO YOUNG TO GET MY
PERIOD! I feel embarrassed to tell my mom about this. I know I should, but HOW? I told my friend, and
she understands too. I feel like she doesn't know what it feels like, but I know she will. I NEED
LOTS OF HELP! I saw a note that said a girl got her period when she was 14 1/2. If she thinks that's
young, LOOK AT ME! I'M 10 YEARS OLD! You know a lot of stuff, do I hope you can help me.
- Katie
Dear Katie,
I assure you, nothing is wrong with you and believe or not, you are not too young to get your
period. Some girls start as early as 9 or as late as in their upper teen years. It certainly is
scary when your body changes on you unexpectedly, but you are going to be okay. You will need Mom
though, and you have to tell her. She will want to know and can help you through it all - she is
after all, a girl! Every girl gets her period - you are NOT alone. Your mom can help you deal with
the questions you have and show you the best way to handle it each month. Trust your mom and don't
be embarrassed. Just remember you are not alone. It always helps to have someone to talk to, and
mom is the very best!
