Questions! :D

Hey, everyone. :]

Okay, so I'm switching to a new school next year, and I am SO excited. It's going to be amazing. This year (grade nine), I went to a really small private school (about 120 kids total... no joke), and I hated it. The kids have so much power (the kind that corrupts absolutely, you know?), the marks are all fixed (only for those kids, though) and there are NO extracurricular activities. Sports, yeah, but they suck and there's nothing else. :/ So, yeah, I'm going to a big school next year. I would really appreciate if you guys could just answer the following questions, they would really help me for some things.

1. What kinds of extracurricular activities do you have at your school? (Not exactly sports, since those are pretty predictable, but maybe some interesting student-run associations. Maybe like a Science Olympiad, Student-Run activist groups, a cultural or religious group -- like, one of the schools in my city has a Muslim student association because there are so many Muslim kids there and they were being discriminated against.)

2. How many students attend your school?

3. Would you say that a lot of students at your school are active in the community? For example, if you organized an event, how many do you think would attend? (I know it's dependent on the event, but you can just choose an example of your choice.)

Those are all the questions I really have at the moment, but if I think of more I'll add to the list. :] I hope it's not too much to ask; if you could just take a minute to answer those that would be great! ♥ Thanks.

1. PLENTY. My skool has a PI (pacific islander) club. music, fashion design. math 2. the list is 2 long!! 2. a big number. bout idk 900. im the 300th student in skool records.
3.bout half the skool wuld go 2 events. esp. sportz eventz. we r a very competitive skool

1. Lots. I don't know if you're going to a public school but it's very easy to set up a club you want if you don't find anything interesting. Here we have to get it approved by the district, have a teacher supervisor, and have enough members for it to be a real club. Some examples of clubs at my school are: fashion, Anime/Manga, some christian teen groups, Art, a ga-y rights group, Knight Crew (basically mentoring freshman) and alot more. C:

2. Alot. My class has around 900 students. (again this is because we're a public) And then you think about that many for each class. We have alot of kids on campus, though I think my class is the biggest right now.

3. Yes! We have NHS and they get involved with alot of things. But we do too. I think we had a walk-a-thon event last year to help for all types of cancer. It was really big and everyone pulled all nighters walking and walking. There were teams from clubs and just regular students getting together and walking around our track. They rested and slept on the foot ball field and took turns walking. It was open to the community with some vendors and other stuff happening.

1.) We have a lot. From badminton to a drama club.

2.) Um... not that many. Its actually a really small school. and IDK. maybe 400? IDK, haha sorry

3.) Yup we all pitch in and stuff.

1. We have ScieneBowl, OceanBowl, and QuizBowl (which we're nationally ranked in). We have Speech and Debate Club (which I'm a part of). In addition, we have many student-run clubs and associations like Key Club, Leo Club, and Interact!. (those are mainly for community service hours though). Yeah, we have sports, but we also have marching band and color guard. (For some reason, that's all I can think of right now, but my school's pretty poor so yeah)

2. Between 1600 and 1800 students attend my school, which is a public school)

3. Um, yeah. I would actually say that students in my school are really active, outgoing, and competitive. Even though it is a public school, our school itself is among the best in the nation because of the students themselves. We're diligent and determined. If a club organized an event, about 300 people would come (give or take 100).
