Zodiac Girlz May Have Cosmic & Retail Power
A fledging girls' property that has been kicking around for some time may be ready to break
through with a recent toy deal. Created by brand development company 3 Muses, Zodiac Girlz is a
cartoon concept that debuted on the Internet in June 2002 and has since been seeking licensing and
merchandise deals. Zodiac Girlz is a girl concept featuring a diverse group of pre-teens with cosmic
powers working together to fight crimes. Under an agreement with KB Toys, the retail chain will
become a master toy license for this brand, creating an assortment of dolls, doll fashions,
accessories, activity toys and electronic toys. KB Toys will showcase Zodiac Girlz products this
fall through a feature shop in its stores and an online boutique at KBtoys.com. To celebrate
diversity, the gang of Zodiac Girlz includes an Asian girl, an African-American girl, a girl in a
wheelchair and more. All of the girls have unique personality traits based on their astrological
signs. Up until now, the "Girlz" have existed only as web characters, with a site that includes
games, fashion advice, Flash animation, e-cards and, of course, horoscopes. The KB Toys deal may be
a foot in the door for a TV deal and a chance for the Zodiac Girlz to break through in a big way.

agreement with the 2nd largest toy retail chain in America -
KB Toys - for a line of dolls and toys
of the Zodiac GirlzTM.
Dolls, toys and games are due out on KB retail shelves for holiday 2003.
