3 Muses was formed in early 2002. In June of that same year, they launched their first website for young girls and introduced their company at the International Licensing Show in New York. Since their launch, 3 Muses has quickly risen in popularity with their first property for tweens, the Zodiac GirlzTM.

Rosina P. Rothman has a background in publishing from Times Mirror Magazines. Rosina began her journey as an entrepreneur when she left Times Mirror to create the lifestyle magazine Modern Lounge in 1999. Nationally distributed through all of the major bookstores (such as Barnes & Noble and Borders) and newsstands, Modern Lounge was a main source for the retro revival culture and swing dance movement that dominated pop-culture in the late 90s.  As both Publisher and Editor in Chief, Rosina developed the concept, created, marketed, sold national advertisers and managed the magazine as she took it to national and international levels.

Rosina brings her creative and entrepreneurial experience to 3 Muses as President and Creative Director.

Jill Akahoshi's background is in the entertainment industry from the Walt Disney Company (Buena Vista Television) where she gained valuable experience in promotions and marketing. Prior to Disney, Jill's experience with a major Hollywood print advertising and promotional production company, Kater Litho, allowed her to work with accounts such as Disney, Dreamworks and Universal Pictures. Jill also managed accounts and contract reviews for Indo American Entertainment, a film distribution company.

Jill brings her entertainment background to 3 Muses and supplies marketing, advertising and promotional expertise.

Karl E. Newkirk is a principal investor and active advisor to 3 Muses. Karl retired in December, 2001 from Accenture, Ltd (formerly Andersen Consulting) after a varied and successful career spanning over 39 years with almost 30 years as a partner. Karl has gained significant experience in building and managing global organizations, which includes serving as the first Managing Partner of Accenture's Microsoft Solutions Organization (MSO).

Karl brings his business knowledge, experience and expertise to 3 Muses.
